How to make a Sugar Free Shamrock Shake

This is the sugar free copycat version of that famous Shamrock Shake served at you knwo where.

The problem is that not only is that shamrock shake only available for a limited time, it is also loaded with sugar.

If you have tried my copycat Sugar Free Chick-fil-A Frozen lemonade, then you know just how good sugar free copycat beverages can be.

The way that I see it, just because it tastes good, it does not have to be loaded with sugar.
This recipe is just one example of tasting something yummy but without all of the added sugar!

I have some other great copycat versions of food that you may like.
My Low Carb Copycat Red Lobster Biscuits is one really popular copycat recipe that you may like!

This recipe is for anyone who is asking Are Shamrock Shakes available.

As I mentioned above, if you are craving a Shamrock Shake that comes from that famous fast food restaurant then you may be out of luck. This is because that shake is only available for a limited time only.

However, you are lucky enough to be able to make your own shamrock shake.

I say 'lucky' because that means that you not only get to enjoy your shake at any time, you can also enjoy it without a bunch of added sugar.

So, you may wonder what flavor is the shamrock shake is.

Shamrock shakes are usualy a mint flavor. That mint flavor comes from adding a mint extract to the milkshake dessert.

You can also top your Shamrock Shake if desired.

Whipped cream and a cherry are popular ways to top your Shamrock Milkshake. You can find my recipe for Sugar Free Whipped Cream here.

Here are some tips for making a Sugar Free Copycat Shamrock Milkshake.

I just mentioned that a mint extract is used to get that yummy mint flavor in this delicious milkshake. Also, I mentioned that you can top your Shamrock Shake with a bit of Sugar Free Whipped Cream .

Here are some more helpful tips for you.

    1. This recipe calls for milk and sugar free ice cream. To make this vegan friendly, try using a vegan milk, such as a nut milk, and a vegan ice cream alternative.
    2. For a thicker shake, simply cut back on the milk that you add. Adding ice cubes can also help.
    3. Low carb diet followers can try subbing in half and half for the milk.
    4. I have heard rumors of folks adding a bit of creme de minthe and vodka to make this a Boozy Shamrock Shake. If you were to try this, I would try two ounces of each and then taking back the milk about a tablespoon to compensate.

Are you still wondering what goes in a Shamrock Shake?

Especially in a sugar free shamrock shake? It is really just four ingredients and most of those I have already shared with you.
