Ingredients needed to make white chocolate chip cookies.

    • Flour. All purpose flour was used to make my cookies. If you use an alternative flour, use one that measures like all purpose.
    • Baking Soda. Added for a bit of leavening.
    • Butter. Your butter should be softened to room temperature for optimal blending. If you are using unsalted butter, you can add a half teaspoon of salt to your flour.
    • Sugar Alternatives. Both brown sugar alternative and white sugar alternative are used in this recipe.
    • Eggs. Your eggs should be lightly beaten.
    • Vanilla Extract. Added for a bit of flavor balance.
    • Sugar Free White Baking Chocolate Chips. Use white chocolate chips that can be baked with.

Tips for making the best cookies with white chocolate chips.

Using fresh ingredients is essential to the success of this recipe. This includes your dry and wet ingredients.

    More helpful tips for you.

    1.  When combining your wet and dry ingredients together, do no over mix your ingredients. Doing so can ruin the texture of your cookies.
    2. Butter flavored shortening was actually used to make my cookies with which is why the texture looks so good. I listed softened butter in the ingredient list as not everyone has butter flavored shortening on hand. Feel free to use either shortening or actual butter keeping in mind that your cookies may look different than mine as a result.
    3. When selecting your sugar alternatives, select alternatives that measure like regular sugar and that can also be baked with.
    4. If you having to make this recipe in batches, for best results, use a cool(ed) baking sheet between batches.
    5. Refrigerating your dough, for at least 20 minutes, can help prevent the cookies from spreading too much during baking.
    6. Use a cookie scoop to scoop out the dough and keep the cookies a uniform size.

How to make Sugar Free White Chocolate Chip Cookies

    Prep Time: 20 minutes .
    Bake Time: 10-12 minutes .
Servings: 28 cookies, depending on how they are scooped. .

    1. Prepare. Preheat your oven to 350 and prepare your baking sheets for nonstick. I like to use parchment paper or baking mat for a recipe such as this one.
    2. Dry Ingredients. In a medium bowl, use a whisk to combine together your flour and baking soda.
    3. Cream. Using a large mixing bowl, beat together your butter (or shortening) and sugar alternatives until creamy (two to three minutes). Then add the eggs and vanilla extract and mix until combined.
    4. Combine. Scrape down the sides of your mixing bowl and then add the dry ingredients from the first bowl to the mixing bowl. Mix these ingredients until just combined.
    5. Fold. Use a rubber spatula or similar item to fold in your white chocolate chips.
    6. Scoop. Next, use a cookie scoop to scoop out the cookie dough, roll the dough between your hands to form a ball, and then place the cookies about an inch and a half to two inches apart on your prepared baking sheets.
    7. Bake. Place the cookies in your oven and bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are a golden brown and the center is no longer moist looking.
    8. Cool. Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheets for three minutes before transferring them to a cooling rack to fully cool.

Expert Tip ๐Ÿ‘‰ Your cookies will still be soft in the center when they come out of the oven. Allowing them to sit on the warm baking sheets will allow the centers to set and still be soft.

The white baking chips made this so good. I did add extras and will also add macadamia nuts next time.
