What makes Kitchen sink cookies so good?

Inspired by the famously delicious cookies from Panera, these cookies are the perfect salty and sweet treat!

Made without the added sugar, this is basically a big chewy cookie that is stuffed with puddles of warm milk and semi-sweet chocolate, crunchy candy bites, and salty chopped pretzels.

Did you try my recipe for Sugar Free Mocha Chocolate Chip Cookies ?

Those flavorful Chocolate Chip Cookies are made with with brewed coffee and no added sugar. Both this recipe for everything cookies and that recipe for mocha chocolate chips cookies would go nicely when served together for dessert or at a gathering.

To make this recipe you will need sugar free or keto candied nuts. You can find a selection of keto candy coated nuts here.

Sugar Free Kitchen Sink Cookies, a simple dessert or snack recipe loaded with chocolate and crunchy salty add ins. Keto low carb option.

Why we like this recipe for Kitchen Sink Cookies.

These cookies offer everything sweet, salty, soft, crunchy and whatever else you want in a cookie.
They can also be jazzed up with other add-ins such as potato chips, chopped nuts, chopped candy, or a drop of two of hot sauce!

We also like how do you serve kitchen sink cookies.

    • Serve these cookies as is with a glass of milk or cup of coffee on the side.
    • Use two cookies to make a cookie sandwich with Sugar Free Cream Cheese Frosting in the center.
    • Drizzle a bit of Sugar Free Ganache and serve the cookies with a few berries on the side.

Ingredients needed to make Kitchen Sink Cookies with No Added Sugar.

    • Flour. All purpose flour was used to make my cookies. You can however use an alternative flour as long as it measures and baked like all purpose flour.
    • Baking Soda. We are using a small amount for leveaning.
    • Butter. Your butter should be softened to room temperature. If you are using unsalted butter, add a half teaspoon of salt to the flour.
    • Sugar Alternative and Brown Sugar Alternative. For best results, select sugar alternatives that measure like sugar and that can also be baked with.
    • Eggs. Use large eggs that are also at room temperature.
    • Vanilla Extract. Added for flavor balance.
    • Add-ins. Sugar Free Chocolate Chips (use two kinds such as milk and semi sweet). Also, chopped mini pretzel twists and and chopped keto candy coated nuts.

Expert Tip๐Ÿ‘‰ Selecting add-ins that balance one another out (sweet versus salty, soft versus crunchy) is the secret to making a great kitchen sink cookie. While it is a nice idea to experiment with your selected add-ins, it is a good idea to limit the total add-ins to about two cups as too many add-ins can affect the stability of the cookie and the ability to hold all of the ingredients intact.

How to make Sugar Free Kitchen Sink Cookies

    Prep Time: 10 minutes
Bake Time: up to 20 minutes.
    Servings: about 15 cookies (large).

    1. Preheat your oven to 325 and prep your baking sheet(s) for nonstick. I like parchment paper or baking mats for a recipe such as this one.
    2. In a medium bowl, use a whisk to combine together the flour and the baking soda.
    3. Next, in a large mixing bowl, beat together the butter and sugar alternatives (both kinds) until creamy. This can be done easily using a paddle attachment.
    4. Scrape down the sides of the large mixing bowl and stir in the eggs and vanilla extract.
    5. Add the dry ingredients from the first (medium) bowl to the ingredients in the large mixing bowl and mix until just combined.
    6. Use a rubber spatula to fold in the add-in ingredients.
    7. To scoop out the cookies, use a large cookie scoop to scoop out the dough and place the cookie on to the prepared baking sheet about two and a half to three inches apart. Use can use the palm of your hands to slightly press the cookie dough balls down if needed.
    8. Bake the cookies for 12-15 minutes or until the edges are golden brown. Then carefully tap the baking sheet on the counter to sink the cookies and run a large round cookie cutter around the edge to shape the cookies back into circles. This will help the cookies turn out perfectly round!
    9. Carefully return the cookies back to the oven for an additional three to four minutes, or until they are set around the edges and golden brown.
    10. After taking the cookies out of the oven, allow them to sit on the baking sheet to fully cool before removing them. You can sprinkle the cookies with thick salt such as Kosher sea salt at this time.

Expert Tip๐Ÿ‘‰ These cookies will still be soft in the center when you take them out of the oven. They should however fully set when they are allowed to sit on the baking sheet to cool down.

Tips for making the best everything but the kitchen sink cookies .

My ingredient list includes the "everything add-in" suggestions that you can use or omit. When selecting your add-ins, keep in mind that the secret to making a good kitchen sink anything is to balance out the flavors and textures. Using sweet chocolate chips along with salty pretzels is one way to do this.

    More helpful tips for you.

    1. While this recipe is sugar free, you can also make this a keto low carbohydrate recipe. Simply sub in keto all purpose flour (for all purpose), use keto chocolate chips, and use keto pretzels or salty nuts instead of the pretzels.
    2. Refrigerating the dough before baking it is one way to to prevent the cookies from over-spreading. If you decide to do this, first scoop the dough out before refrigerating it as the dough will be more difficult to scoop when cold.
    3. This dough can also be frozen so that you can bake the cookies individually or as a batch later on. To bake the frozen dough, first scoop it into balls onto a rimmed baking sheet. Then place the cookie dough balls into the freezer until set. Once set, you can transfer the dough balls to a zip top freezer bag or other freezer safe storage container.

    How to store everything cookies.

Once these cookies have full cooled, you can store them in an airtight container for up to a week at room temperature. These cookies can also be frozen for about a month.
