Tips for making the best alfredo sauce.
This Alfredo sauce tastes like a delicious rich and full white sauce full of flavor.
Feel free to omit the garlic if you are okay with the sauce as it is.
More tips for you.
- Adding chopped pieces of bacon can take this sauce up a notch. Make sure that you are using already cooked bacon or bacon bits.
- This recipe calls for heavy cream. I would not substitute anything that is thinner in texture as doing so will make your sauce thin.
- Grated cheese works best in this recipe rather than shredded or chunks. This is because grated cheese is the perfect size for blending into a thick sauce when the ingredients are heated together.

How to store alfredo sauce.
Once it has fully cooled, alfredo sauce should be stored in an airtight container such as a clean jar. When properly stored, alfredo sauce should keep for up to a week in a refrigerator or up to a few months when frozen (I use a zip top freezer bag).
