This recipe calls for no added sugar.
However, we will use a bit of sugar alternative to take the ease off of any tartness from the baked apples. You will also need rolled oats, which you can easily find online.

No Added Sugar Crustless Apple Pie
What you will need to make this
As mentioned above, you will need rolled oats, which you can easily find online. I like to use a combination of apples as Granny Smith, Golden Delicious, Gala, etc.
- Apples- 6 apple that have been peeled, cored and sliced. It is easiest to core then slice in half. Then cut the slices in half again and slice the pieces about ½" thick.
- Sugar Alternative- Equivalent to ¼ cup of sugar. Use what works best for you in a recipe such as this.
- Brown Sugar Alternative- Equivalent to ¼ cup of brown sugar.
- Butter- 1 ½ sticks (12 tablespoons) melted and divided.
- Ground Cinnamon- 1 tablespoons.
- Nutmeg- 1 teaspoon.
- Rolled Oats- ⅔ cup. Can omit- Keep this lower in carbohydrates by omitting the oats.
No Added Sugar Crustless Apple Pie
- Start by preheating your oven to 325 and prepping your pie pan/plate/dish for nonstick
- Arrange the sliced apples in your prepped pan/dish/plate as you would like them to be presented.
- Divide the melted butter into tow bowls or measure cups that you can work in.
- Combine together your sugar alternative and brown sugar alternative. Whisk this into one of the melted butter cups/bowls that you just divided.
- Pour and brush this butter sugar alternative mixture over the apples. Bake this for about 25-30 minutes, apples should somewhat brown and become soft.
- Meanwhile, combine together your remaining ingredients. When you remove your baked apples from the oven allow it to cool for about five minutes. Then evenly spread the remaining ingredients (butter, cinnamon, nutmeg, oats) over in between the apples. Return this to the oven and continue to bake for another 8-10 minutes.
- Keep this lower in carbohydrates by omitting the oats.
