    I like that this is a no bake recipe that uses pudding to make the perfect pie filling!

    Sugar Free Chocolate Pudding Pie

    Ingredients needed to make Chocolate Pudding Pie.

    • Crust
    • Sugar Free Chocolate Instant Pudding- You will need 2 boxes. Each box should be 1.3- 1.4 ounces.
    • Heavy Whipping Cream.
    • Frozen Whipped Topping with no added sugar-
    • For the topping, cream cheese, Sugar Free Powdered Sugar, heavy whipping cream, and vanilla extract.
    • Optional, sugar free sprinkles, chocolate shavings, or whipped cream.

    How to make Chocolate Pudding Pie

     

    1. For the filling, beat together the dry pudding mix and heavy whipping cream on medium until smooth. Then add the frozen whipped topping and mix on low until until just combined.
    2. Use a rubber spatula or similar utensil to evenly smooth this filling over your pie crust. Cover the pie with plastic wrap and refrigerate.
    3. When you are ready to serve the pie, mix together the topping ingredients and top the pie. My pie in the photos has the topping piped (the white stuff on top) along the edges.

    Tips for making the best pudding pie.

    Using a premade pie crust makes this recipe even easier to make. Look for a pie crust that has no added sugar or a lower amount of sugar.

    How to store pudding pie.

    This pie should be covered and refrigerate where it should keep for up to five days.
    However, it can also be frozen (something I do during the holiday season).

    Ingredients

    • 1 Pie Crust
    • 2.8 ounces Sugar Free Chocolate Instant Pudding- - See post for details and for keto alternative
    • 3 cups Heavy Whipping Cream
    • 1 Frozen Whipped Topping - See post for details

    Topping

    • 4 oz cream cheese -softened to room temperature,
    • ยฝ cup Sugar Free Powdered Sugar
    • 1ยผ cup whipping cream
    • ยฝ tsp vanilla extract

    Instructions

    • Place the prepared pie crust in the refrigerator to set while you make the filling.
    • For the filling, beat together the dry pudding mix and heavy whipping cream on medium until smooth. Then add the frozen whipped topping and mix on low until until just combined.
    • Use a rubber spatula or similar utensil to evenly smooth this filling over the prepared crust that you had refrigerated. Cover the pie with plastic wrap and refrigerate. When you are ready to serve the pie, whisk together the topping ingredients and top the pie.
