More helpful tips for you.
- Whipping the heavy whipping cream into stiff peaks is crucial to the texture of the ice cream. If is not whipped enough the ice cream will be crumbly, rather than creamy, when you scoop it out for serving.
- Your peaks are stiff when they are able to wholly hold their shape. Note that over beating the whipping cream can result in a thick butter-like consistency.
- Refrigerating the mixing bowl and beaters before whipping the cream is also recommended. This will help with the structure of the stiff peaks.
- Using a stand mixer to whip the cream will make your efforts much easier in this recipe.
- Dicing the cake into pieces makes it easier to blend in with the other ingredients. The cake will continue to break up as you mix it in, which is perfectly fine.
- Can you use another flavor pudding? Personalizing this recipe can be as easy as using sugar free banana cream pudding or sugar free cheesecake pudding.
- For a fun texture, you can top your ice cream with a sugar free chocolate shell .
