This recipe is flavored with both chocolate and brewed coffee. The structure of the recipe is dependent on the egg whites, cheese, and cream.

- Sugar Free Dark Chocolate. Chocolate chips with no added sugar are the easiest way to get the chocolate.
- Coffee. Strong brewed coffee is needed for the flavor of this recipe. Espresso shots can be substituted in.
- Vanilla Extract. This balanced out the flavor for us.
- Egg Whites. For best results, use fresh egg whites that have been just separated.
- Liquid Stevia. The sweetener of choice.
- Heavy Cream. This helps make our mousse creamy.
- Sugar Free Mascarpone Cheese. This can be hard to find however, you can alternatively use softened cream cheese.
How to make Mocha Chocolate Mousse
The preparation and active time is 45 minutes

This recipe makes eight to 10 servings.
- Start by melting the chocolate. You can do this in a microwaves, stopping to stir every 15 seconds. Or you can melt your chocolate using the stove method. then allow the chocolate to cool to room temperature.
- Meanwhile, beat the cheese (mascarpone or cream cheese) until creamy. Then mix in the cream until incorporated.
- Next, mix in the liquid stevia, vanilla extract and cooled coffee. Lastly, stir in the melted chocolate.
- Now you will need to beat the egg whites until they peak. Do this in a clean mixing bowl with whisk attachments that are also clean. It should take about five minutes to get firm peaks. Once you get the firm peaks, fold the egg whites into the first bowl with the other ingredients.
- Refrigerate the mousse for at least two hours before serving.
Then serve the mousse topped with whipped topping or shaved chocolate,.
