To make this recipe you will need either (there are two recipe options listed below) no added sugar orange marmalade or sugar free orange jello . You can find no added sugar orange marmalade or sugar free orange jello here.
Ingredients needed to make Sugar Free Orange Creamsicle Pie
There are two options for making this recipe. The first is using sugar free orange marmalade and the second uses sugar free orange gelatin.
Option One- Marmalade ingredients.
- Sugar Free Orange Marmalade.
- Orange Juice.
- Whipped Topping. Use the tubbed version with no added sugar or whip up your own heavy whipping cream instead. Frozen whipped topping should be thawed.
- Orange Food Coloring. One to two drops should get you a coloring like mine.
- Orange slices for garnish (optional)
Option Two- Gelatin ingredients.
- Sugar Free Orange Flavored Gelatin. Use a .3 ounce four serving package.
- Boiling Water. Make sure that your water is boiling and be careful handling it.
- Cold Water. For the pie to set, the water should be ice cold.
- Whipped Topping. Again, the sugar free tubbed version. Also, this should be thawed.
- Orange slices for garnish (optional)
The Crust.

You will need:
- Almond Flour- 2 cups.
- Pecans- ยฝ cup. The pecans should be chopped fine.
- Sugar Free Powdered Sugar- โ cup.
- Butter- ยฝ cup (1 stick) melted.
How to make Sugar Free Orange Creamsicle Pie.
How to make the crust.
- Place the chopped pecans and almond flour in a skillet on medium heat stirring frequently until golden brown (about 10 minutes).
- Then combine the toasted ingredients with the remaining ingredients in a mixing bowl.
- When you are able to press this ingredients together, press it into a prepared pie pan and then refrigerate until set.
The Filling.

- Prepare the crust if it has not been prepared.
- In small microwave safe bowl, heat the orange marmalade and the orange juice in microwave for 30 seconds. Use a whisk to stir the ingredients to combine.
- Place a small strainer over a bowl and pour the mixture over the strainer to weed out the solid orange pieces. You should have about 1 ยผ cups liquid of liquid left after straining.
- Next, beat together the orange mixture and whipped topping until combined. Then beat add one to two drops of food coloring to get to your desired color for filling.
- Evenly spread the mixture in your prepared crust using a rubber spatula.
- Cover the pie and place it in your freezer until set (about four hours)
- When you are ready to serve the pie, simple add orange slices and top with whipped topping as desired.

- Prepare the crust if it has not been prepared.
- Place the gelatin mix in a large heat safe bowl. Then add the boiling water to the bowl and gently stir the mixture. Add the cold water to the bowl and stir until well blended.
- Fold in the whipped topping until smooth and combined.
- Evenly spread the mixture in your prepared crust using a rubber spatula.
- Cover the pie and refrigerate until set (about four hours).
- Top the pie with orange slices additional whipped topping before serving.
Tips for making the best creamsicle pie.
To make this recipe as low in sugar as possible, select ingredients that have no added sugar in them. The basic recipe below is made with sugar free marmalade and orange juice. I will also have an alternative to those ingredients in the instructions.

- While I am providing you with a pie crust recipe, you are welcome to use the pie crust of your choice. You can even use a premade pie crust if desired.
