Making the slushies is relatively easy as there are not a lot of ingredients.
The biggest challenge however, may be in getting the correct texture and temperature for serving as everyone has different tastes. What you will need is a blender (or slushie machine), ice, and you flavor ingredients.

How to make a homemade fruit slushy.
- Place four glasses in the refrigerator or freeze to get a cold glass for your slushie.
- In a blender or slushie maker, (please refer to manufacturers instructions for details) add one cup of crushed ice to the watermelon cubes and half of the sweetener that you have chosen to use. Blend until you reach your desired consistency. Adjust the ingredients as needed.
- Transfer the mixture to a pitcher and place it the refrigerator while you work. Rinse or clean out the blender and dry it.
- Next, add the kiwi along with the remaining crushed ice and sweetener and blend again to consistency. Adjust ingredients as needed. Remove the glasses from the freezer or refrigerator and distribute the kiwi evenly between the glasses. Then use a tablespoon to drizzle or drop the watermelon layer of the kiwi before serving.
