This recipe features bananas and also tastes great when you add other fruit to it (I will explain later).
This is a great recipe for anyone asking what can you do with frozen bananas.
While you do not have to have frozen bananas to make this recipe, frozen bananas would make this into a nice smoothie. Making ice cream from this is also an option.

You can use milk or yogurt in this recipe. However, vegan folks can use a nut milk, soy milk, or coconut milk.

You only have to make mistake of freezing once (like I once did) to learn how to do it right.
Bananas should not be frozen in their skin.

- I use my Vitamix blender to make this. You can use a blender or even a food processor to make this recipe.
- Place your ingredients into the blender and blend until you reach your desired consistency. Add ice or water as necessary.

No sugar/sugar substitute is necessary! If you freeze ripe bananas (skin has broken spots) it will be plenty sweet!! I've made banana "ice cream" for years without the added sugar. Bananas and chocolate; bananas and peanut butter; bananas, chocolate, mint. Adding milk (dairy, soy, coconut milk ) just enough for the consistency desired. One banana per person. Makes a lovely dessert. Follow recipe directions!
