    There really are so many ways to personalize this recipe as well!
     

    If you tried my Sugar Free Copycat Chick-fil-A Frozen Lemonade recipe then you know all about enjoying a beverage without having to add sugar to it.

    That recipe featured lemon and was really popular with readers.
    This recipe features bananas and also tastes great when you add other fruit to it (I will explain later).
     

    This is a great recipe for anyone asking what can you do with frozen bananas.

    While you do not have to have frozen bananas to make this recipe, frozen bananas would make this into a nice smoothie. Making ice cream from this is also an option.

    This recipe also includes dairy.

    You can use milk or yogurt in this recipe. However, vegan folks can use a nut milk, soy milk, or coconut milk.

     

    Here is how to freeze bananas.

    You only have to make mistake of freezing once (like I once did) to learn how to do it right.
    Bananas should not be frozen in their skin.

    Remove the skin before freezing bananas.
    Even better, remove the skin and slice the bananas. Freeze the bananas in a single layer on parchment paper lined baking sheet for a few hours. Then you can transfer the hardened bananas to another freezer safe container or zip top bag.

    2. Make this recipe into a no added sugar version of that famous whip recipe by adding a cup of chopped and frozen pineapple and sugar free powdered sugar along with a teaspoon of lime juice.
    3. So, this recipe can also be made into an 'ice cream'. Simply use frozen bananas, whip up the ingredients, then freeze for two hours.

     

    You can easily make this a sugar free one ingredient ice cream recipe.

    To do so simply omit everything but the bananas. Follow the steps for freezing and processing the bananas to make this (the texture will be a bit different and it may take some more work to get your desired texture).

      No sugar/sugar substitute is necessary! If you freeze ripe bananas (skin has broken spots) it will be plenty sweet!! I've made banana "ice cream" for years without the added sugar. Bananas and chocolate; bananas and peanut butter; bananas, chocolate, mint. Adding milk (dairy, soy, coconut milk ) just enough for the consistency desired. One banana per person. Makes a lovely dessert. Follow recipe directions!
