- When prepping your muffin pan, it may be a good idea to spray the pan itself in addition to the cup. This is in case the jam spills out while baking.
- While I am using sugar free jam to make my muffins you can use something else. Sugar free chocolate chips or erythritol mixed with ground cinnamon (like a cinnamon 'sugar') are other options.
- While coiling up the dough to place inside the muffin tin, it is okay for some of the jam may spill out. These are an ooey-gooey treat that can get mildly messy upon preparing
- This is one of those sugar free recipes that is not keto low carb. However, if you use a keto low carb baking mix to make a dough that you can roll out, you can try to make these muffins lower in carbohydrates (have not tried this as of yet...).
How to store crescent roll muffins.
Personally, I think that there muffins are best when served warm when the ingredients are at their peak consistency. However, leftovers should be stored in an airtight container and refrigerated (for up to a few days). Microwaving the muffins for about a half minute can help if needed. ๐
