    These no added sugar donut are oven baked and are full of nutty and sweet flavors thanks to the the flour used and the glaze on top.

    However, like with this recipe, there is no added sugar. t

    Sugar Free Glazed Donuts, a simple recipe for homemade donuts that have no added sugar. Keto, Low Carb, and Gluten Free.

    What you need to make Sugar Free Glazed Donuts.

    • Almond Flour. this is a gluten free and low carbohydrate flour that also adds a nutty flavor to the donuts.
    • Coconut Flour. Added for flavor and for moisture as well.
    • Baking Powder. Adds air to the baked donuts.
    • Sugar Alternative. Use a granular alternative that measure like sugar and that can be baked with.
    • Butter. The butter should be melted.
    • Almond Milk. Water can be used as an alternative.
    • Eggs. Added for both moisture and to hold the ingredients together.
    • Vanilla Extract. Feel free to use another extract such as maple extract for flavor.
    • For the glaze icing, butter, granular sugar alternative, and vanilla extract.

    How to make Sugar Free Glazed Donuts

    Prep Time: 15 minutes active time, 20-25 minutes baking time.
    Yields: 6 donuts

    1. Preheat your oven to 350. Prep your donut pan well for nonstick.
    2. In a medium bowl, whisk together the almond flour, coconut flour, and baking powder.
    3. Next, in a mixing bowl, cream together the sugar alternative and melted butter until blended. The stir in the egg, vanilla extract, and the almond milk.
    4. Add the dry ingredients from the first bowl to the mixing bowl and mix until just combined.
    5. Fill each donut mold in the pan three fourths full. Then bake for 20-25 minutes or until donuts start to turn golden brown.
    6. Allow the donuts to fully cool in the pan before removing them.
    7. To make the glaze, in a small saucepan on low heat, combine the glaze ingredients until fully melted together, continually stirring. Then dip each of the donuts (flat side) into the glaze. Allow the glaze to fully set before serving.

    Tips for making the best sugar free donuts.

    This recipe uses both almond flour and coconut flour. Because coconut flour does not measure like other flours, it is important that you do not use a substitute for it

    More helpful tips for you.

    1. I suggest that you prepare your donut pan well for this recipe. I like to use both nonstick spray plus a dusting of almond flour for example.
    2. After glazing your donuts you can add sprinkles on top. You can find sugar free sprinkles here.
    3. Sprinkle chopped nuts or shredded coconut over the glaze as it sets in place. Another option is to drizzle melted chocolate over the donuts.
    4. Allow the donuts to fully cool in the pan before removing them. You can run a butter knife around the edges of the donuts to help separate them from the pan.

    How to store Sugar Free Donuts

    These donuts should be stored in an airtight container with parchment paper separating any layers. If properly stored, and refrigerated, they should keep for up to a few days. You can also freeze these donuts!

    • 1 cup Almond Flour
    • 2 tbsp Coconut Flour
    • 1 tsp Baking Powder
    • ยผ cup Erythritol -see post for details and alternatives.
    • ยผ cup Butter
    • 1 tbsp Almond Milk
    • 2 Eggs

    For the optional glaze- butter (ยผ cup), granular sugar alternative (ยผ cup), and vanilla extract (ยฝ tsp).
