Frequently asked questions about homemade donuts.
About three letters and that is about it. It can be confusing right?
Doughnuts are made from 'dough', hence the "dough" in the name.
However, there are those of us who would argue why add the extra letters that may confuse people when you are really just hungry for something yummy to eat.🤷♀️
When it comes to taste, the preference is a personal one.
Some folks prefer the fried while others prefer the baked version.
However, when it comes to what may be healthier, usually the baked version of about anything will win. This is because a fried version involves oil.

- I suggest that you prepare your donut pan well for this recipe. I like to use both nonstick spray plus a dusting of almond flour for example.
- After glazing your donuts you can add sprinkles on top. You can find sugar free sprinkles here.
- Allow the donuts to fully cool in the pan before removing them. You can run a butter knife around the edges of the donuts to help separate them from the pan.
