This is a tasty strawberry dessert recipe that is made without adding sugar.

The strawberry blondies are topped with a simple sugar free glaze as well.

Did you try my Sugar Free Strawberry Poke Cake recipe?

That recipe for a no added sugar strawberry poke cake is very similar to this one.
While that recipe is for a cake, this recipe is for a blond brownie bar.

To make this recipe you will need sugar free strawberry gelatin. You can find a variety of strawberry gelatin mixes here.

So people sometimes ask what is the difference between a brownie and a blondie.

Both blondies and brownies are tasty baked bars that are somewhere between being a cake and being a fluffy cookie.
They are almost like a bar cookie sometimes.

Technically, to some folks, blondies are simply blond brownies.

That is, if you did not add the cocoa or chocolate to the brownies then you would get blondies.
While the ingredients (such as sugars used) could vary between the two depending on the recipe used, the premise of this is pretty much correct.

People also ask can you put gelatin in cake mix.

Yes, this is a blondie recipe that is made with cake mix.
However, since sugar free strawberry cake mix is a rare thing to find, we are using add sugar free strawberry gelatin and yellow cake mix instead.

Can you actually make sugar free strawberry blondies using cake mix and gelatin?

Yes, you can make these blondies using both cake mix and gelatin.
The strawberry gelatin adds flavor and a bit of structure to this recipe.

Here are some tips for making strawberry blondies.

Yes, this is a strawberry blondie recipe thanks to the strawberry flavored gelatin that is used. However, if you were to use another flavor gelatin, such as lime or orange, you could have another flavored blondie instead.

Here are some more tips for you.

    1. Top your blondies with some sugar free sprinkles. You can find sugar free sprinkles here.
    2. Add sliced strawberries to your blondies. I suggest that you use cold or frozen ones and fold them into the batter last.
    3. There is a simple glaze icing that is used to top the blondies with. Feel free to skip this or use a regular frosting instead.

    How to store blondies.

Most blondies can be stored in an airtight container.
If properly stored, they should keep for about a week refrigerated or for a few months frozen.

How to make Sugar Free Strawberry Blondies

    • Preheat your oven to 325 and double prep a square baking dish for nonstick. I use parchment paper that overhangs two sides of the dish and then spray that with nonstick.
    • Place the cake mix with the gelatin in a mixing bowl. Use a fork or whisk to blend them together.
    • In a smaller bowl, mix together the eggs and the oil. Then pour the mixture into the mixing bowl with the dry ingredient until mix until just combined. Use a rubber spatula to fold in the white chocolate chips.
    • Transfer the mixture to your prepare baking dish. Use the spatula to evenly distribute the batter. Then you can bake the blondies for 35-40 minutes or until the edges begin to brown.
    • Allow the blondies to cool before adding the topping (15-20 minutes). Combine the ingredients for the glaze icing and distribute it over the cooled blondies. Allow this to set before removing the blondies to cut into squares.

PROTIP--> Refrigerating the just topped blondies will help the icing set faster.
