How to make Focaccia Bread .

    • Preheat your oven to 350. Prep a baking pan for nonstick. Mine was prepped with olive oil and brushed on top of parchment paper.
    • Start by separating three of the eggs, placing the whites into a mixing bowl and the yolks in another bowl. Beat the egg whites until soft peaks form.
    • While the egg whites are beating, you can place the almond flour, baking powder and option seasoning such as salt in another large bowl. Use a fork or whisk to combine and then make a center well in the ingredients.
    • Beat the two remaining eggs and place them into the center well. Then add the almond milk, olive oil, almond milk, and vinegar to the well and mix you get a smooth dough. Then fold in the beaten egg whites.
    • Evenly spread the bread batter (dough) in your prepared baking dish and add the topping. Then bake for 20-25 minutes or until it begins to brown and a toothpick come out clean.
    • Allow the bread to cool before serving.

Tips for making the best focaccia bread.

This recipe for focaccia bread is made using almond flour. If you choose to substitute in another flour, make sure that it measures like almond flour and adjust the eggs if your flour choice has gluten.

    More helpful tips for you.

    1. My bread is seasoned with rosemary and salt. Feel free to use the seasonings of your choice.
    2. Olive oil is used for both moisture and flavor. I like to use a good quality and cold-pressed extra virgin olive oil for the best results.
    3. This low carbohydrate bread can be enjoyed warm or cold. However, reheating leftover focaccia bread in an oven or toaster can improve the texture if you are making a sandwich or dipping the bread.

    How to store focaccia bread.

Leftover bread should be stored in an airtight container or sealed bag. It should keep for about four days at room temperature or up to a week refrigerated.
