Make the Perfect Vodka Sauce
There really is something to be said about serving the perfect sauce.
Around here, people take their pasta sauce seriously. Taste really matters to the people who eat my pasta dishes.
I rely upon adding something extra to make my recipe even better.
When I add a bit of Vodka to a basic tomato sauce I create the perfect balance. The vodka takes the meal up a notch, so I am told by others.

The Vodka that you use is really a personal choice.
I have heard that the cheap Vodka is best for cooking with while the expensive stuff is the best to enjoy in the glass. I am not a huge Vodka drinker so, the cheaper the better seems to work for me when it comes to cooking.
The recipe for the Vodka Sauce
For this recipe you will need Roma or plum tomatoes. An easy cheat for this would be to use a 28 ounce can of tomatoes. Also, this recipe calls for heavy cream or Greek Yogurt. As a fan of Greek Yogurt, I tend to use it rather than the cream.
I serve this sauce with most pasta dishes that I make.
This sauce seems to taste better when it is the focus of the meal rather than another great ingredient. Thus, I serve this with plain old pasta because this is how I can show off the taste of the sauce.
