Vegan is more of a lifestyle. In this lifestyle, any and all animal byproducts are avoided.
There is a difference between Vegan and Vegetarian.
While this lifestyle avoids any and all animal byproducts. A Vegetarian lifestyle is more about eating a diet without meat.
Being vegetarian is more about the diet than about the lifestyle.
For example, a vegetarian may not eat meat but, will drink milk. As a vegetarian you may avoid eating beef but, will own leather shoes.
The vegan recipes that are featured here are vegetarian-friendly.
These recipes feature non-animal alternatives.
While this is not a vegan recipes site, there may be recipes that are friendly.
That is, recipes will not use animal byproducts. Thus, you can use an animal-friendly alternative to eggs etc.
